About us

The boat team Oxelösund is a collaboration between associations and actors working with wooden boats, coastal life, and archipelago culture in Oxelösund. Together we want to create more meeting places, pass on knowledge, and make the cultural heritage more accessible for both residents and visitors.

The boat team is driven by voluntary engagement and collaboration. Their work involves everything from practical boat maintenance and joint workdays to events, documentation, and stories from the coast.

This is what we do:

• organize activities and public events
• document wooden boats and coastal environments
• collaborate between associations and generations
• highlight the archipelago culture of the Sörmland coast
