Stensund's boat building program is a unique education for you who want to learn the craft behind traditional wooden boat building. Here, solid craftsmanship tradition is combined with practical learning in an environment where history and boat building are in focus.
During the education, you work with classic techniques such as clinker building , wood processing, and design – just as it was done in old shipyards along our coast. You gain a solid foundation in how to plan, build, and finish wooden boats, while also learning about materials science, tool handling, and historical building methods.

Where?
80 kilometers south of Stockholm, just outside Trosa, lies Stensund by the sea. Here is the castle with the lovely terrace and garden, the beach with the boat docks, sauna island, dance floor, and camping. A picturesque gem far from everyday life!
